Getting engineering students closer to services

3

Recently, a group of egineering students participated in the seminar Service Quality Engineering at JOSEPHS®. In cooperation with the Chair of Production Metrology the seminar was held by Dr. Alexander Gogoll (Siemens AG) and Patrick Meyer (Chair of Information Systems and elaboratum). In the inspiring rooms of JOSEPHS® around 20 engineering students learned about the characteristic features of services and the consequences for service management. Based on this, the students developed their own services in interactive groups and on the basis of real use cases. All results were presented to the audience in short elevator pitches. We are looking forward to interactively discussing with the next group of students in this years’ fall semester – don’t miss it!
