Wi1’s Research Associate Christofer Daiberl took part at the 23rd European Operations Management (EurOMA) Conference at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in the beautiful town of Trondheim. The stimulating conference was based on the theme “interactions”, which is rooted in the Scandinavian research tradition that focuses on applied and multidisciplinary research. In doing so, it shall be ensured that generated solutions ultimately benefit industry and society.

Christofer Daiberl presented a paper titled “conceptualizing productivity within a service network” which aims to overcome a narrow, firm-oriented and efficiency-focused understanding of productivity. In doing so, productivity management shall be informed to take into consideration effectiveness and efficiency perceptions throughout the aggregated service network in order to improve value creation for customers and business partners alike.
