Agnes Schipanski graduated from Technische Universität Ilmenau with a Master in Applied Media Science (Dipl.-Medienwiss.). During her studies and beyond, she worked as a free-lance production manager in external productions at Südwestrundfunk (SWR) broadcasting company in Stuttgart. She obtained further professional experience during her internship abroad at EUTOP Brussels SPRL. She worked as a Marketing Consultant at CLAAS KGaA mbH, a world-wide leading agricultural engineering company, and as the Head of Marketing of Mainau GmbH. She is also working on her dissertation at the Institute of Media and Communication Science at Technische Universität Ilmenau. Her research focuses on the fields of open innovation, idea management systems, leadership, organization theory and strategy. Her work will focus on the “Research Workshop: Productivity of Services” (ServProd) project funded by third parties. Moreover, she is a central contact person at CLIC for International Networking and Practical Marketing of Research.
