Researchers from different disciplines met at the recent seminar of the CMTS center at FAU to explore the implications of a decentralized supply with renewable energies in the Nuremberg region. WI1 was part of the seminar, supporting a student group which evaluated the possibilities to use open innovation in this context. Based on the example of electric mobility solutions, they drafted a strategy to assemble the best resources in a common endeavour to create best results. During a public hearing, the group presented their results and received wide attention from the visitors. WI1 coach Dr. Dr. Albrecht Fritzsche joined in the heated discussion with stakeholders from industry, politics and public administration, as well as many interested citizens who attended the hearing. With all the new friends we gained, we hope to continue the discussion in the future with the CODIFeY project and other interdisciplinary activities at CMTS. For more information, please click here.
