Does talking about the digital transformation matter? – Paper online

The latest journal paper by Alexander Bohnert, Albrecht Fritzsche and Shirley Gregor is now available online at It deals with the question how references to the digital transformation in strategic statements relate to the actual business performance of a company. The study is focussed on insurance companies in Europe. It finds that there is a positive relationship between the expression of digital agendas in companies and their business success – if these agendas address digitization in specific internal and external application contexts.
