Julius Kirschbaum holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Material Science, earned from RWTH University in 2018. His academic focus during this period encompassed Metallurgy and Innovation Management. Throughout his studies, he actively contributed to prominent academic entities such as the “Chair and Institute of Industrial Engineering and Ergonomics,” the “IME Process Metallurgy and Metal Recycling,” and the “FIR an der RWTH,” where he served as a dedicated student assistant.

Since 2019, Julius has been pursuing his doctoral candidacy, engaging in research at the Chair of Information Systems – Innovation & Value Creation. His research endeavours primarily revolve around innovation ecosystems and artificial intelligence, with a particular emphasis on Natural Language Processing.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Julius has been a committed volunteer at Engineers without Borders (Ingenieure ohne Grenzen e.V.) since 2011. His volunteer work is centred on knowledge management and education, showcasing a holistic commitment to societal advancement.
