The German Forum for Service Research (DF)² is a platform dedicated to fostering regular exchange between academia and practice on emerging research challenges and key findings in service research. The forum organizes annual conferences, publishes position papers and working papers, and engages an innovation advisory board to shape the future of the service economy. Its current focus areas include service sovereignty in the age of AI ecosystems, sustainable service transformation, and the triad of artificial intelligence, service, and human work. Through these activities, (DF)² aims to bridge the gap between scientific research and practical application in Germany’s service sector.
Prof. Dr. Angela Roth serves as a member of the (DF)² Innovationsbeirat (innovation advisory board), where she contributes her expertise in service innovation and digital value creation to the forum’s strategic research agenda.
