Larisa Zaburdaeva received her Bachelor of Science degree in Economics in Moscow State University of Railway Engineering and the Master of Science degree in Business Administration (Dipl.-Kffr.) with specialisation in technology and innovation management from Technische Universität Dresden. She gained her international experience in different brunches including media corporations (Moscow, Russia), technological consulting (Boston, USA), and academic management (Dresden, Germany).
Since January 2019 she combines her duties at the university administration of FAU in the Office for Research Support and pursuing her doctoral degree as an external candidate at the Chair of Information Systems, Innovation and Value Creation at FAU. Her research focuses on exploration of crowdfunding systems and development of crowd-based financial instruments for universities.
