Eike Trost
Eike Trost studied International and Cultural Business Studies (ICBS) at the University of Passau in Germany where she, later on, graduated with a Bachelor degree. During this time, she gained practical experiences in international management, finance and accounting. In 2016, she started her master in business administration at the University of Passau. Her master thesis was in collaboration with the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne and focused on the impact of executive education programs. During her studies, Eike could apply her practical skills in different working student and internship positions at Siemens Healthineers in Erlangen and in Hoffman Estates (Chicago, USA). Moreover, Eike could apply her research skills and knowledge as a student assistant at the Chair of Management, People and Information at the University of Passau. Between June 2019 and December 2020, Eike worked as an external consultant and junior project manager at a company focusing on IT and banking in Nuremberg. Since 2021, she is a project manager of the European University EELISA at FAU and a doctoral student at the Chair of Information Systems, Innovation and Value Creation.
Her research interests include community and ecosystem building in hybrid spaces and settings, (innovation) platform design and international management and leadership.
The working title of her dissertation is: A Case Study of transnational hybrid Community Building.
