Last week, our co-head of Wi1 – Chair of Information Systems I, Innovation & Value Creation at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, Prof. Dr. Angela Roth, visited the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). During her stay, she delivered inspiring lectures on servitization for BSc and MSc students, hosted by Anikó Kelemen-Erdős (Service Marketing) and László Molnár (Innovative Business Models).
The visit, hosted by Peter Zrubecz (Department of Management and Business Economics), also included discussions on developing joint research ideas following our February meetings at FAU. One promising direction is a potential research activity or broader initiative within the EELISA European University network.
Angela also shared insights from her decades of experience in open innovation in an interview with Zsuzsanna Szalkai, offering valuable perspectives for colleagues and researchers in Hungary.
We thank András Nemeslaki for initiating and supporting this collaboration, and Vivien Surman, Szilvia Bíró-Szigeti, Zsuzsanna Ágoston, Miklós Verseghi-Nagy, and Imre Kulcsár for their valuable contributions to the visit.
We look forward to the next steps in this growing partnership between FAU and BME.
