Since 2014, I have been working as a project lead and research associate at the chair.

At Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, I studied industrial engineering and management with a focus on mechanical engineering from 2008 to 2014 and received my doctorate in 2018 with my dissertation on the systematic development of digitalized service systems entitled “Engineering Service Systems in the Digital Age”.

My work is embedded in design-oriented innovation projects in areas such as mechanical engineering and electromobility. Together with companies, I develop and pilot concepts, methods and tools for designing digitalized business models with a high service orientation and customer centricity.

Grounded in the realms of Open Innovation, Design Thinking, and Service Design, I have applied these approaches directly with companies such as Siemens, Schaeffler and Fraunhofer in order to implement innovative digital business cases and made them accessible to industry in various industry-related publications, such as DIN SPEC 33453 “Development of Digital Service Systems”.
