Benjamin Bauer studied Socio-Economics at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuernberg and graduated in 2013. He also graduated from Hull Business School (England) with a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Marketing in the year 2011. He used to be a member of START (www.start-nuernberg.de) for many years and served as president of START Erlangen-Nürnberg e.V. in the year 2009-2010.

Benjamin is enthusiastic about Entrepreneurship and Innovation and gained his first practical startup-experience during high school in a startup company in Vallendar at Otto Beisheim School of Management (WHU). He was an organiser of the second Startup Weekend Nuremberg in 2010 (www.swnue.de). Benjamin also gained practical experience at Recaro Aircraft Seating in the Innovation Management department.

In May 2012 Benjamin founded Gründermagnet (National Society for University Entrepreneurs) in Berlin with 9 other entrepreneurial students. Gründermagnet has since become the biggest German association for university entrepreneurs, representing over 37 societies and more than 1000 students.

Benjamin is also co-founder of www.unicoach.de, a platform for students to manage their studies at 26 universities in Germany. UniCoach was awarded ‘Startup of the Week’ by WirtschaftsWoche.

He now is the CEO at the new Zollhof Tech Incubator.
